I was permitted to witness young ‘iliahi returning to the land. They are not yet mature, and that incompleteness became part of the work, restoration. Their location remains protected. Originals are painted on Mulberry (wauke) paper, honoring a plant where many Iliahi (sandlewood) forests were diminished 1790 - 1839. Restoration of the Forests.
